Skintinel

Walk in prepared. Two dated photos and a PDF.

Photos stay on your iPhone. You carry the file. The app does not score a spot.

$0 today. Email only. Three photos, no card.

November, iPhone.

Skintinel is a photo diary for spots you want to keep. Two photos of the same spot, with dates. You or your doctor look at them. It checks the frame and exports a PDF you take to a visit. It does not diagnose.

While you wait for the appointment.

of melanomas are first found by the person or a relative - not in a doctor’s office.

People in the US projected to die of melanoma in 2026.

>99% vs 35%

The second-photo pair

Photograph a spot now.

No sign-up. No card. The first minute is a photo, not a paywall.

Two photos. You look yourself.

The first photo is a record. The next one of the same spot sits beside it, with dates.

Two photos of the same spot

Two photos of the same spot, with dates. You or your doctor look at them. The app does not write a verdict.

The second-photo pair

The first photo is a record. The next of the same spot sits beside it. You look at both.

Frame check before you save

The app checks focus, angle, and distance. If something is off, it says so and offers a retake. It does not score the spot.

A date to come back

The app names a next date and sets a reminder. The second photo does not happen if you never return.

Photos stay on the phone

Photos stay on your iPhone, inside the app. They do not go to the camera roll.

A PDF you carry

Export the pair and take it to a visit. You carry the file. Skintinel does not send it.

See your doctor - not with a guess.

Photos of the same spot, by date, in one PDF. You take the file to the visit. One camera-roll frame is still one frame.

While you wait for the visit, memory already slips.

Questions

No. You may arrive with that question. We will not answer it. The useful question is whether it looks different from last time. Skintinel does not diagnose or score a spot. What that means medically is a question for a dermatologist who can examine you.

You can use your camera roll. A photo there is easy to take and hard to compare later. Skintinel keeps the pair in one history and checks the frame before you save it.

The first photo is a record. Value starts when the next photo of the same spot sits beside it, with dates. You or your doctor look at both.

So you do not walk in empty-handed. The first dated frame is already a record for this visit. The second frame makes a pair later. Do not delay the visit for a second frame: if a spot bleeds, itches, or changes fast - see a doctor, not the camera.
